Commission launches consultation on reducing industrial gas emissions

The European Commission has launched a public consultation on strengthening EU measures to reduce emissions of fluorinated gases which contribute to global warming. The consultation was launched on 26 September, along with the publication of a Commission review on the existing EU regulation on F-gases which found that additional measures are needed to decrease the emissions of F-gases in the long term.
