MEP to ask how Commission can better green law implementation

The European Parliament's Environment, Public Health and Food Safety Committee will this week hear the Commission respond to a question from Austrian Socialist MEP Karin Kadenbach about what can be done to tackle implementation problems in the member states. In a 14 July implementation session, Kadenbach will ask whether there is a comparative study from the Commission looking at why member states sometimes have problems implementing EU environmental law.
