Calculation method guidance for WFD targets due soon

The European Commission decision on how to calculate the 50 per cent household waste recycling target in the waste framework Directive (WFD) should be adopted soon, DG Environment's Diana Oancea told the 9 March European Packaging Waste Forum. "This has been drafted and should go in front of the comitology committee of member states in the coming months," the Sustainable Production and Consumption official told the Brussels meeting.
