Doha climate talks reach stalemate on agriculture

Talks aimed at including agriculture in an international agreement on efforts to reduce global greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions broke down at the UN climate conference that ended last week. However, countries agreed to work on ways to better account for emissions stemming from land use, land use change and forestry (LULUCF) at the 18th round of United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) negotiations in Doha, Qatar, our sister publication Agra Europe reports.
