Life cycle assessments, so much a feature of packaging studies in the last decade or so, may well be outdated, industry experts said last week. Their comments were made as the European Container Glass Federation (FEVE) launched the first MEP policy dialogue on glass packaging, where the pros and cons of Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) were discussed extensively.
