Haug plea for MEPs to grant EEA discharge for 2010 accounts

German Socialist Jutta Haug is calling on fellow MEPs to sign off the European Environment Agency's 2010 accounts in a vote this autumn. The European Parliament plenary postponed discharge of the 2010 accounts in May over concerns about conflicts of interest and a costly Green Facade project. It will vote again in the October plenary but before that Parliament's Environment, Public Health and Food Safety Committee (ENVI) then its Budgetary Control Committee (CONT) will consider the issue.
