ECHA adds seven substances to SVHC list

The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) has added seven chemicals to the REACH chemicals regulation candidate list of substances of very high concern (SVHC). The list now contains 151 substances. The additions announced this week followed either unanimous agreement by the Member State Committee (MSC) or without the involvement of the MSC where no comments challenging the identification as SVHC were received by the Agency.
