US: EPA issues checklists for pesticide registration applications

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)'s Office of Pesticide Programs (OPP) has issued checklists to assist companies in submitting registration applications under the Pesticide Registration Improvement Extension Act (PRIA 3). They are intended to promote a more efficient process and reduce the number of applications rejected by the OPP. The preliminary technical screen checklists provide tools to minimise any deficiencies in applications, the OPP points out. They cover conventional pesticides, biopesticides and antimicrobials.
