EFSA extends deadline to sign up for BPA meeting

The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) has given an extra ten days until midnight on 23 March to register for a follow-up meeting next month to discuss comments received during the public consultations on the draft opinion on the controversial food contact chemical bisphenol A (BPA). The deadline to register for the 23 April meeting in Brussels (see EE&PL: March 12, 2014, pi0) had been 13 March, but as it approached, EFSA said it was extending it.
