Transparency campaign group ALTER-EU said this week that the review of the EU Transparency Register was "hugely disappointing". The transparency campaigners said they could not find a single area of "good progress" made by the review group to improve the EU's lobby register, according to a scorecard published on 27 January. The ALTER-EU scorecard assesses the outcome of the recent EU Transparency Register review process, based on leaked copies of the final report, against ALTER-EU's own recommendations for reform.
