Key EP Committee says clear agency accounts

A leading Committee of MEPs voted last week to sign off several agency accounts for 2012, including those of the European Environment Agency (EEA), European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) and European Food Safety Authority (EFSA).Voting on a report from German Socialist budget specialist Jutta Haug on 22 January, the European Parliament's Environment, Public Health and Food Safety Committee backed her view that MEPs should grant discharge to these Agencies' accounts.
