Labor Union Group Supports Utilities In Supreme Court Case on Emissions

A group supported by several labor unions asked the U.S. Supreme Court Sept. 1 to grant review of a decision by a federal appeals court allowing sev-eral states and others to sue American Electric Power Co. and other utilities in federal court for their green-house gas emissions (American Electric Power Co. v. Connecticut,U.S., No. 10-174, amicus brief filed 9/1/10).
