摘要

Bipartisan Senate legislation would require inspectors general across the federal government to post recommendations online from their reports that have been open for more than a year. The Inspector General Recommendation Transparency Act (S. 3109), introduced by Sens. Heidi Heitkamp (D-N.D.) and James Lankford (R-Okla.), would assist Congress and members of the public in keeping track of recommendations made by inspectors general and ensuring they are properly implemented, according to the sponsors.
