Anadarko plans to disconnect all underground natural gas supply lines from vertical wells similar to those linked to the explosion of a home in Colorado last month that left two dead. The company announced it is taking the "extra step" to permanently disconnect all one-inch, low-pressure return lines that carry natural gas underground between the wellheads and the tanks that separate oil, natural gas and water.
