EPA Faces Green Group Lawsuits Over Lead and Copper Rule

Green groups said they filed two separate lawsuits Friday aiming to strike down the EPA’s new leadand copper rule.The plaintiffs, led by New York-based Newburgh Clean Water Project, said they filed a petition forreview in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit pursuant to the Safe DrinkingWater Act. The group also includes the NAACP, Sierra Club and United Parents Against Lead.
