摘要

Environmentalists are suggesting that EPA should require reporting of toxic releases from products as one of the "enhancements" the agency is considering for its Toxics Release Inventory (TRI) program, a move that comes as EPA is already vowing to require wood treatment facilities to report releases from finished products stored on site.rnActivists that are pushing the approach say the agency could make the change without legislation, bypassing the ongoing debate on Capitol Hill over the scope of toxics-law reform.
