The Obama administration appears to be continuing to advance a controversial Bush-era proposal to modify waste management requirements for solvent-contaminated industrial wipes and towels.rnThe Obama EPA on June 8 sent a notice of data availability (NODA) containing a revised risk assessment pertaining to the rule back to the White House Office of Management & Budget (OMB), according to OMB's Web site. The NODA had twice been under OMB review during the final months of the Bush administration, and the multiple delays prevented industry from achieving its goal of the rule moving forward before the end of the Bush administration.
