Gasoline, CO2 Standards Sought

A federal stakeholder panel is seeking to develop first-time safety standards for acute exposures to gasoline and carbon dioxide (CO2), which EPA could use to develop regulations and other protections in the event of a spill or other sudden, short-term exposure to the substances. EPA uses the standards to protect first responders.
