EPA's Environmental Appeals Board (EAB) in a new order is outlining procedures to expedite its review of appeals of new source review (NSR) and prevention of significant deterioration (PSD) permits, seen as a response to a lawsuit that claims lengthy EAB permit reviews violate an air law requirement that EPA grant or deny permits within one year.
