EPA Defends Costs Of Proposed Tank Rule Against Industry Criticism

EPA is pushing back against industry claims it drastically underestimated costs for small businesses to comply with more stringent inspection procedures in its proposed underground storage tank rule, telling Inside EPA in a statement that the agency worked with stakeholders and conducted all necessary analysis while developing the proposed rule that EPA expects to finalize in fall 2013.
