Environmental groups and the Trump administration are in talks to resolve advocates' long-running "mega" lawsuit seeking to force EPA to consult with wildlife officials on risks of dozens of pesticides to endangered species, though an environmentalist says prospects for a deal are slim, because the pesticide industry opposes the reviews the groups want. "I don't believe that EPA has any interest in settling this case because they are getting told by the pesticide industry that continuing to delay the process and dragging things out" is the preferred tactic, an official with the Center for Biological Diversity (CBD) tells Inside EPA in a Dec. 10 interview.
