Lance Endersbee 1926-2009

Professor Lance Aubrey Endersbee AO, a past national president and honorary fellow of Engineers Australia, died at Frankston, Victoria, on 1 October, just short of his 84th birthday. Cancer treatment and respiratory problems finally quenched his indomitable spirit.rnAs a notable professional engineer of his age, he developed his career in civil engineering with great enthusiasm, and it was that characteristic which took him to academic life and marked his exemplary family life. He was a councillor of Engineers Australia during 1967-80, and served as national president in 1980.
