Structural engineers are invited to evaluate two new courses on structural steel detailing, developed by the Australian Institute of Steel Detailers. They are called Certificate Ⅲ in Structural Steel Detailing and Diploma of Structural Steel Detailing.rnThe courses can be accessed at the website of the National Training Information Service. Go to Training Packages and then to Manufacturing Packages.rnBoth courses are seen as an essential step to developing an ongoing source of graduates to join the detailing workforce as well as providing engineering consultants with a new base for design drafting traineeships.
