Call for more industry-university interaction

There should be more cross-fertilisation between universities and industry, according to Leigh Clifford, the chairman of Qantas. Universities should invite industry more regularly,rnand industry networks similar to the one maintained by the University of Technology Sydney should be fostered, he said at his Zunz Lecture last month in Sydney.rnThe Zunz lecture series, held by UTS, is named in honour of the work of Sir Jack Zunz who led the design team on the Sydney Opera House construction.
