Researchers from Curtin University recently attended a forum in Cape Town, South Africa, to discuss their progress in their bid for the international Square Kilometre Array (SKA) radio telescope.rn"This allowed us to meet with funding agencies for this €1.5 billion project. We also learned about the progress of the South African bid in their scientific and technical areas," said Peter Hall, professor of radio astronomy engineering at the university.
