French oil and gas company Total will join Santos and Petronas in their joint-venture for a large scale project to convert coal seam gas to LNG,. Santos sold 15% of its stake in the GLNG project to Total for $650 million and Malaysian oil and gas company Petronas has entered into an agreement to sell 5% of its stake in GLNG to Total.
