Emergency air supply

The Pro-Cab emergency air system, available from Wormald, provides personal respiratory and flame protection for multiple users in hazardous conditions, such as a vehicle burn-over. The crew protection system was designed for rural and regional fire brigades, as part of a collaboration between the South Australian Country Fire Service, Scott Health & Safety and Wormald. While firefighting vehicles provide occupants with protection from fire, materials used inside the cabin can potentially release toxic fumes under extreme heat conditions. The Pro-Cab system provides firefighters inside a vehicle with breathable air during a burn-over.
