Safety in offshore facilities

The design and layout of offshore oil and gas facilities will come under scrutiny at the upcoming Aus-tralasian Oil & Gas Exhibition & Conference (AOG) as part of a session designed to improve understanding of the safety risks associated with oil and gas production. In a presentation titled "Designing offshore facilities for inherent safety", Clive Rawson of Perth-based Oracle Risk Consultants will discuss the inherent hazards of offshore facilities and explain how they can be best designed to achieve a safe working environment.
