The eChartered system streamlines the paper-based process previously in place by offering a web-based process integrated with EA's membership database. It simplifies the assessment process into three stages: 1. Enrolment - on one of three pathways 2. Submission - of Engineering Competency Claims in response to the 2012 Australian Engineering Competency Standards Stage 2 3. The Professional Interview - the final stage of the assessment with a face-to-face interview with a panel of experts.
