Southern Seawater expansion

The Western Australian government gave the go-ahead in August 2011 to double the capacity of the Southern Seawater desalination plant to provide 100GL/a of drinking water. The project has involved duplicating the main process components of the plant including the microfiltration building, reverse osmosis building, drinking water tank and seawater pump station.
