UNSW plans new facility

The University of New South Wales is extending its physical sciences precinct with a new Materials Science and Engineering Project (MSEP) at its Kensington campus in Sydney. The development includes an extension of the Mark Wainwright Analytical Centre. Architectural firm Grimshaw designed the $123 million project while Brookfield Multiplex has been appointed to further design and construct the building. It is the third project UNSW has awarded to Brookfield Multiplex in the last few years, after the Tyree Energy and Technologies Building, completed in 2012, and the University Terraces student accommodation, completed in 2013.
