Now that it's warming up in Beijing the dire air quality situation there is improving. "It isn't as bad as it was when I was here in January, when it was -17℃. It's only -2℃ now and people are not burning as much for heating," said Robert Williamson, MD and CEO of Red River Group. This small anecdote is a small insight into the globetrotting life of one of Engineers Australia's most successful chartered associate engineers. In the early 2000's, Williamson won a number of awards. He was a WA Engineering Heroes Award Winner in 2001, IEAust Australian Engineering Associate of the Year in 2002 and winner of the Engineers Australia National President's Prize in 2003.
