Efficient evaluation of singular and infinite integrals using the tanh transformation

摘要

The application of the tanh transformation in the efficient and accurate evaluation of singular integrals is considered. It is shown that the transform can also be utilised in the efficient computation of infinite integrals. Several numerical examples illustrate the usefulness of the method in computational electromagnetics.
