Remote sensing image processing in geographic information systems

摘要

This article gives a short history and the current state of research in the Institute of Engineering Cybernetics in the field of image processing. A developed integrated geographic information system is briefly described as well as some methods for interpretation of remote sensing images. Applications of these methods are also given.
