A Better Way to Survive

What do construction projects have in common with Survivor? Like the hit TV show, they can result in self-serving game-playing that results in just one victor, if that. What's a "game" on a construction project? I've asked this in the more than 500 partnering workshops that I've facilitated in the past 10 years. And I've usually elicited a definition along these lines: "A game is any form of communication on a project in which a stakeholder is not being completely honest or truthful."
