ALLIANCE OF OWNER GROUPS HELPS PUT MUSCLE BEHIND ISSUES

A new group is forming to help owner associations share information and avoid duplicating efforts. At a recent meeting, participating groups decided to call themselves the Owner Association Alliance. "The group will create a linked common voice for owners to address the issues of facilities, design, construction and maintenance," says Gretchen McComb, director of owner services in the Denver office of management consultant FMI Corp. FMI is facilitating the group pro bono in its startup phase.
