Caterpillar Launches New 700 Line of Articulated Trucks

To separate new features from those of their former series, Caterpillar™ has designated arnnew 700 Family of articulated trucks. These all-new Cat™ 10-wheel-drive diesel trucks feature new electronically controlled engines and transmissions, a new front suspension system, a new articulated-hitch design, a rear-mounted engine-cooling system to shorten the hood for better visibility, and a new operator station and center-mounted cab. The 725 and 730 supersede the previous models D250E II and D300E II, but retain the cross-axle differential lockrnand inter-axle differential lock systems.
