Underground Construction 2006 - sensational projects underway

Changes in the national underground-construction association (explained below) augur a renaissance that should bring new benefits to the industry. Thomas Peyton, VP of Parsons Brinck-erhoff, has assumed the chairmanship of the new Underground Construction Association of SME Committee. Dave Kanagy, executive director of SME, says that the Committee will be publishing a new quarterly magazine starting in 2007 and will be publishing statistics on underground work as well as forecasts.
