One of the perks of being an editor at ENR is that we finish each year with a favorite project: the issue displaying the winners of ENR's annual photo contest. As we put the final touches on the eleventh contest, editors are still wishing they had more space to write longer pieces about the photos they were assigned. It is the final step in a process that began with more than 1,200 submissions, which were then reviewed by a panel of judges who selected a winners' gallery (see page 26) and a wonderful set of runners-up.
