Traffic Crunch Foiled by New Southern California Interchange

The opening of the $63-million La Mesa/Nisqualli interchange is a welcome transportation improvement for the residents of Victorville, Calif. "The lack of an interchange on Interstate 15 had caused significant traffic delays and made access to I-15 difficult through the other interchanges," says Nabil Fraywat, senior resident engineer with ARCADIS. "Connecting La Mesa Road and Nisqualli Road to the I-15 with a full interchange allows for a much better flow of traffic and a safer driving environment." The ARCADIS team was responsible for construction management and inspection, materials testing, construction surveying and landscape inspection services.
