Ease-of-Use Software Technology Helps Growth and Profitability

For years, construction companies have been looking for ways to speed up the estimating process, cut down on errors and bid more projects. That is why On Center was founded and why its software estimating tool, Quick Bid~®, became and remains a market leader. In On Center's 2016 "Industry Trends & Assessments" survey, well over 50% of construction managers and owners attributed their growth and profitability to deployment of software technology. The survey also found that minimizing errors and rework was ranked most important at 73.7%, followed by increasing estimating production at 73.2% and increasing the bid/win ratio at 70.6%. When purchasing software, "ease of use" was valued by 93% of respondents, followed by customer support at 77.1% and training at 65.2%.
