NORTH CAROLINA Gilde is planning to establish a small-scale brewery, the Embassy, and a larger-scale brewery, at unselected sites in Charlotte. The project scope includes renovation or construction of a 5,000-sq-ft and a 100,000-sq-ft building; and purchase and installation of grain boilers; stainless-steel refrigerated fermentation tanks; chillers; heat exchangers; process piping; a walk-in cooler; racking; and milling, pasteurization, sanitizing, packaging and flow-control equipment. The Embassy will have the capacity to produce approximately 2,000 barrels of beer per year, with construction beginning in late 2019 or early in 2020, following site acquisition. The larger-scale brewery will have the capacity to produce up to 500,000 barrels per year, with construction expected to begin in 2021. Gilde, Hildesheimer Strasse 132, Hannover 30173, Germany.
