Jeff Rubenstone, ENR Equipment and Technology Editor, and Nick Czu-rylo, Video Editor at ENR's parent company, BNP Media, recently paid a visit to Oracle's new Innovation Lab in Deerfield, Ⅲ. It is a mock construction site equipped for testing out software, virtual reality, drones, robotics and other tools that promise to transform construction work. At the Innovation Lab, Rubenstone spoke with senior managers from Pepper Construction, Mortenson and Bechtel about the promise of field-testing new tools hands-on in the new lab to see how they may improve project delivery.
