Recently, I was involved in a unique field installation of two Honeywell Power Systems Parallon 75 microturbines at a Philadelphia, PA waste processing facility known as Changing World Technologies (CWT). Although Honeywell has since exited the microturbine business (Ingersoll-Rand Energy Systems and a couple of other entities are now the major microturbine manufacturers), the experience at this installation is still instructive.
