ESOS HAS WORKED WELL IN IDENTIFYING THE OPPORTUNITIES BUT WILL THE ENERGY SAVINGS BE REALISED?

The Phase 1 extended deadline date of 29 January 2016 for the Government's Energy Savings Opportunities Scheme (ESOS) has now passed. It is understood that 6000 large' organisations have now notified compliance with ESOS by submitting their details via the Environment Agency's (EA) online notification system. Another 1000 organisations have notified their intent to submit soon and it is estimated that another 2000 organisations have not yet made contact.
