The Localization Application of the Characterization and Normalization Method of Resources Depletion in China

摘要

This paper introduced several characterization and normalization methods for resource depletion, and calculated the characterization and normalization values of China separately by surplus energy. It has been found that surplus energy method is available and necessary for evaluating the damage to resources by mineral and fossil fuels which can reflect the true state of resources in different regions. Comparing with Europe, the damage to resources per capita caused by various minerals in China is significantly higher than the average level in Europe, but that caused by fossil fuels is a little lower than Europe. The results can be used to judge and weigh the feasibility of resources exploitation.
