Energy-saving measurement of building outline based on image

摘要

The method could acquire energy-saving building parameters just by picturing the target building and measuring the distance between building and camera. The method primarily focus on calibrating the camera distortion which is inevitable in camera manufacturing technology, aiming at achieving the camera distortion parameters and its focal length etc., and then calibrates the image according to distortion parameters, and finally, uses Canny edge detection algorithm to extract the building outline. The practical results indicated that the method can restore energy-saving building outline effectively.
