摘要

Natural gas plays an important role and an increasing use in cities because of its very unique properties such as being environmentally friendly and overall sustainability concerns. Usability of PE pipes for Natural Gas pipelines in sea crossing which are under steady current effects have been investigated in this study. Previous researches about flow around cylindrical structures and vortex induced vibration have been reviewed. Hydrodynamic effects have been identified. Early results and proposed test model has been explained in detail.
