摘要

In order to research the generation performance of linear generator used in the range extended electric vehicle, a finite element model of the self-designed linear generator is built. The load characteristic and the frequency characteristic are respectively researched by finite element analysis method in electromagnetic field. The laws of generation parameters including the output power, the load voltage, the efficiency, the thrust, the no-load induced electromotive force and the peak detent force are obtained under the load and the frequency change. The results show that the linear generator can meanwhile achieve a combine of high output power, efficiency and load voltage under a moderate load. The no-load induced electromotive force has a good direct proportion relationship with the frequency. The detent force is an inherent characteristic of the linear generator, whose size and direction are independent of the frequency. An appropriate increase of the frequency can significantly improve the output power on the premise of assuring the efficiency. This research is of important significance to the application of the linear generator to the EV range-extender, both guaranteeing the operation and improving the efficiency.
