Study on the status and influential factors of university students' emotion management ability

摘要

In this study, 1000 college students were investigated with the Emotion Management Questionnaire (EMQ) for college students. The result resources data showed that students in ordinary college were better than students in key university on the ability of reasonable adjustment and the ability of looking for outside support. Students majoring in liberal arts were better in the ability of looking for outside support than students majoring in science. Girl students were better than boy students in the ability of reasonable adjustment and the ability of searching for support. The emotion management total score and the ability of reasonable adjustment firstly increased, then decreased, while grade went up. Factors, such as activities, interest, social support, character, knowledge and physiology factor had influence on college students' emotion management ability.
